A few years ago, during the month of December, I read God in the Manger by John MacArthur. It is a great book and if you want to get in the TRUE spirit of Christmas, I would highly recommend it! MacArthur helps to see that night through the shepherd’s eyes and he gives biblical evidence for the virgin birth. He really helps the reader to understand the significance of the fact that the GOD of the UNIVERSE became a human baby.
