This time of year is soooo hard. Everywhere, people are getting ready for Christmas (my favorite holiday). They must all have defective calendars because they are completely forgetting Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the most skipped-over holiday of the year. That’s where my struggle (or fight) comes in- I refuse to sing Christmas carols (my favorite songs) until Black Friday, even though K-Mart is broadcasting them over the speakers and my sister is humming them behind me (and is now SINGING them LOUDLY to tempt me to sing. Not going to happen.) I LOVE Christmas and will get in the spirit of it as much as anyone—but not till after Thanksgiving.
